Fascination with the short films; independent and niche filmmaking goes back to the beginning of the cinematography. Enthusiasts appreciate the direct message and artistic qualities encapculated in this important type of the film industry; full of unconventional ideas and sensitiv to everything that surrounds us. Independent cinema is not based on the commercial rules and does not succumb to the pressures from mass audience. It does not require large financial resources or a team of professional specialists. The most important is the passion and the initial, often crazy idea.

Cultural peculiarities, breathtaking landscapes and pictures, the music and the world seen in its all diversity that mixes up in an international and cultural melting pot is what for years the Grand OFF Best Independent Short Films festival has attracted.
